A day long workshop learning how to make various different products such as salves, balms and lotions. With a whole day there will be plenty of time to look at other ways of taking care of our bodies, such as face and body scrubs, and to go on a foraging walk for helpful skin herbs.

About the Event
It's easy to make your own natural products to take care of your skin and body! In this practical workshop, we will make various different products such as salves, balms and lotions as well as looking at other ways of taking care of our bodies, such as poultices and herbal baths. With a whole day to play with, there will be time to explore the plants more deeply and time to make a wider variety of products, such as bath bombs and hand/foot baths. There will also be time for a foraging walk, identifying local edible and medicinal plants, and collecting herbs which we will use in our preparations later.
We will learn to identify local medicinal herbs that help our skin, as well as learning about other skin herbs. We'll also spend time connecting more deeply to some of the plants we use through simple meditations with different infusions.
At the end of the day you will have made a herbal infused skin oil, a lip/body balm, and a healing face/body cream to take home. More importantly you will know how to make your own personal products using the herbs most suitable for you. You'll never want to buy a skin cream again!
