About the Event
A time to gather to give thanks to the waters of life. We meet at 11.00 to walk to the well, where we will give thanks, prayers and offerings to the fresh waters that bring us life. We will finish with singing water songs at 12.00. This is a community led event so feel free to bring songs, poems or prayers to offer.
Our ancestors regularly honoured the elements. These monthly meetings to sing to the waters are an effort to reconnect to this ancient desire to give thanks to the waters of life. To relearn how to honour and give thanks to that which gives us life.
Following the suggestion of Matsuro Emoto, author of The Hidden Messages of Water, people around the world gather at midday on 11th of each month to honour the waters. We will be part of this offering.
